GO GO GO

we recently bought lachlan a new bike during the toy sales.. he had been getting proficient at pushing himself around backwards and forwards using both feet at the same time on his other bikes so we thought it was time that he got a new one.. he has quickly gotten the hang of pushing himself along one foot at a time and even has steering sorted out! he isn't very fast yet, and you can tell there is a lot of concentration going into it, but it won't be long until he is scooting around the house faster than i can keep up with..

Strawberries

lachlan has always loved fruit and strawberries are one of his favourites.. now that they are back in season, he's been enjoying having a handful of them as dessert after his dinner.. here are some photos of him and his daddy enjoying a little picnic on the kitchen mat..

Fingerpainting

one of lachlan's favourite things to do is to play with his fingerpaints. i bought him a new art smock during the week in an attempt to keep him clean but it's waaaay too big for him still. doesn't seem to bother him too much though, as you can see!

Green Thumb

with the skies clearing and winds dropping, we decided to do a little gardening this morning.. lachlan as always copied what we were doing and then decided that he would take over.. after "helping" daddy for awhile, he decided it was time to go solo with his weeding fork.. and no, he didn't destroy the back lawn, it was already like that..
